Physical release from Sharpworks

This is really cool! As mentioned on the project page, the retro publisher Sharpworks is working on a physical release of Numbertron on cassette. It will come in two versions, one for the MZ-80/1200-platforms and one for the MZ-700. There will be slight differences in the cover art.

I'm really excited about this release, because not only does it have awesome cover art done by Petko Mishev, but a classic C64-style loading picture, which is very uncommon on these platforms. The loading art is done by DATAD00R, and is excellent. Like the main game, it comes in two variations, one monochrome version for the MZ-80/1200 and one in colour for the MZ-700.

The new version has been even further compressed, so despite the loading art it should not take longer to load. There otherwise no differences, though the title screen has been changed somewhat to fit the extra credits.

Working on a PC-version

I'm also working on a PC-version of Numbertron. I don't quite know how the final version will be distributed yet, but I am planning on putting an early version up as a bonus for those who have gotten the Sharp MZ-version here on Itch.io.

I'm also planning to generate keys for those who buy the Sharpworks-release, so they get access too.
